Serving as a horror reimagining of Hanna-Barbera's 1968 children's television series The Banana Splits, the film stars Dani Kind, Steve Lund, Celina Martin, Finlay Wotjak-Hissong, Sara Canning, Romeo Carere, and Maria Nash, with Eric Bauza as the voice of the Banana Splits.
The film follows nine-year-old Harley and his family (brother Austin, mother Beth, and father Mitch) as they attend a taping of The Banana Splits TV show, which is supposed to be a fun-filled birthday present for Harley.
However, what appears to be business as usual for Rebecca, the producer of the series, take an unexpected turn -- and the body count quickly rises when the titular characters go haywire upon learning of their upcoming cancellation, starting a killing spree around the studio.
Will Harley and his family, along with their new pals, escape with their lives?
