Kathleen Russell (Roma Downey, "Touched by an Angel") is a factory worker and a single mother to seven-year-old Zoey (Sarah Rosen Fruitman). Her daughter has to Christmas wishes: to live in a beautiful home, and the return of the father who deserted her. Zoey’s halfway there when she and her mom are hired by Kathleen’s boss, Sam (Eric McCormack, "Will & Grace"), to move into his mansion and pose as his kin. The ruse is meant to impress a visiting businessman (Hector Elizondo), a family man who thinks Sam shares his values.
